I want to share this writeup by Caitlin Cahill with you all. It’s very cool and a great idea on how to extend the use of Stixy.
Caitlin, thank you for sharing this with us!

The idea is cool, but every time I’ve used active desktop it has been very disappointing. If there is another way to embed the page into a desktop it wold be killer.

This makes me wonder if bloggers could use stixy as a visitor collaboration/forum tool.
I’m reaching here… but the idea would be for a blogger to offer stixy on his blog for readers to add their comments and digital stuff relevant to a post or the blog itself.
So, if you wrote a blog, say, about “7 Dinners for the Week”, readers could post on stixy pics, comments, etc. about their favorite dinners.
Hmmm… may not be quite explaining this right (perhaps cause I don’t know what I’m talking about), but let’s just say:
Any thoughts about how stixy could be used by bloggers to develop community interaction among readers?
Thanks for any insights.

Hey guys! I just found your site, and I think it’s really amazing! However, it looks like you’ve abandoned this project. I really hope this isn’t the case. There’s many businesses out there the would benefit from its functionality. You should find a way to market to them.
Anyway, I’m sure you guys are really busy. But, I just wanted to drop some inspiration on you guys.
Have a great one! And, thanks for the excellent site!

Hi James,
I’m glad to hear that you enjoy Stixy. Our application is not abandoned. However, we are a small team and we’re often busy working on client projects which allows us to keep developing Stixy. We still have great future plans for Stixy and we hope to be able to release a new and improved version in the near future.
Regards,
/jonas

Might be worth just doing a new blog entry saying that, or perhaps rounding up some useful things people have done with stixy. For me it felt abandoned only when I saw the last blog entry was a couple of years back.
Great project though, really like it!

Superb site you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any user
discussion forums that cover the same topics talked about here?
I’d really like to be a part of community where I can get responses from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thank you!

Hi, Neat post. There is a problem along with
your site in internet explorer, might test this?
IE nonetheless is the marketplace leader and a good part of people will miss your
great writing because of this problem.
